Rifle Accuracy Diagnostics

When a rifle is not performing the way it should, the answer is rarely one isolated part. Brick House Accuracy reviews the rifle as a complete system—platform, optic interface, trigger, barrel and muzzle condition, fasteners, and ammunition context—before recommending a next step.

Focused Starting Point

Complete Rifle Inspection & Cleaning

$100 · approximately two hours of shop time. Depending on the rifle and condition, this focused service may include disassembly as needed, thorough cleaning, barrel and basic firearm inspection, scope-level verification, applicable fastener-torque verification, and reassembly.

This service does not promise a repair or accuracy improvement. If a broader concern is present, any additional work is discussed before proceeding whenever practical.

Project Review Required

Accuracy Diagnostics & Setup

More involved accuracy concerns, setup questions, or potential corrective work are quoted only after a direct conversation about the rifle, intended use, documented symptoms, and what has already been tried.

Existing-rifle work is generally best suited to local and regional customers and is accepted by appointment.

Whole-System Review

What a diagnostic review may include

The exact scope follows the accepted project. These are possible review points—not a promise that every item is included on every rifle.

  • Baseline condition review and documented customer concern
  • Chamber and headspace verification with the appropriate gauge and procedure when applicable
  • Barrel, crown, muzzle, stock or chassis, bedding, and action-fastener review as appropriate
  • Rail, base, ring, and optic-mount inspection; eye relief, level, and applicable torque review
  • Trigger function, safety engagement, and pull-weight review
  • Recorded findings, approved next steps, and an honest recommendation about project fit
Measured, Not Assumed

Testing follows the accepted scope.

When a verified platform is ready for controlled evaluation, testing can be planned around the actual question. A documented system evaluation is not a guarantee of an accuracy outcome, and not every service needs live-fire or ammunition work.

What Comes Next

Solve the platform question first.

If an accepted rifle is mechanically and optically ready for controlled ammunition work, rifle-specific ammunition development may follow where legally applicable. The goal is not to ask ammunition to compensate for an unresolved platform issue.
